One Day Competition - Cranfield Glass 3C Cardinals vs Parklands, 3C, Waltham Park, 21st January 2012
Cranfield Glass 3C Cardinals go 2 from 2 in Top 6
The Cardinals where back at the Waltham Superdome to take on Parklands. The Cardinals put Parklands in (not usual for Cardinals cricket) but with a green looking track it proved to be the right option. Parklands never got going and were dismissed for 124. Livingstone finished with 4 wickets and there was also some tight blowing by Craig Ross (6 overs 1 for 8).
The Cardinals stormed to victory in 23 overs with some fine cameos by Paul McCarthy (on debut), Keiran Williams and Ross.
Williams secured the Old Mout Cider Player of the Day, with Ross and Livingstone picking up the remaining MVP points.
The Cardinals now take on the top teams and this will give a true indication to their title aspirations.
Once again the Cardinals would like to thank their sponsors, Cranfield Glass, Old Mout Cider and Brumbys Barrington.
