Register for the 2026/27 season
Registration for all competitions is through PlayHQ. PlayHQ contains details of our subscription structure and payment options. Click the links below for more details and to register.
Registering early will:
- Allow your match statistics to be recorded accurately
- Allow time for processing your registration and placement in a team
- Enable us to plan effectively
Most grades follow a season structure, with competition matches from October through to end of March. The exceptions to this are:
- Youth boys. Youth boys follow the calendar year and run from February through to December.
- Year 8 boys. Year 8 boys join a shortened competition from October to December before joining the youth boys competition in February of the following year.
Men
Sydenham’s men’s morning and afternoon grades play in competitions organised by Christchurch Metropolitan Cricket Association (CMCA).
Women
Sydenham’s women section caters for all levels of abilities, year 9 and above. They play in the CMCA competition.
Youth boys
The youth season runs across the calendar year, from February through to December. They play in the CMCA competition.
Year 9/10 girls
This season Year 9/10 girls is moving to the senior club. This grade plays in the CMCA competition.
Juniors
Sydenham Junior Cricket Club (SJCC) have teams and activities for young people from 4 years old through to year 8. These grades play in the Christchurch Junior Cricket Association (CJCA) competitions.
