About the Centre
Sydenham Indoor Centre is a purpose-built indoor facility, fully enclosed in netting and designed with four cricket lanes. Nets can be quickly pulled back, and the full expanse of the complex made available for any other appropriate use.
Although the Centre was designed and is operated by the Sydenham Cricket Club, it is a community facility, available to other cricket clubs and different sports, plus schools and community groups.

Location:
Sydenham Indoor Centre is located beside Sydenham Park at 240 Brougham Street, Christchurch. It is directly behind the Sydenham Bowls Club beside the Sydenham Cricket Pavilion. The centre can be accessed from the path connecting Brougham St to the car park off Johnson Street.
Car Parking:
Car parking is available on Brougham Street in front of the Cricket and Bowls clubs and in the car parking facility on Sydenham Park. The car park can be accessed from Milton Street onto Johnson Street.
Toilets:
Toilets are available at the Sydenham Cricket Pavilion. The pavilion is located on Sydenham Park, between the Indoor Centre and Brougham Street with the toilets on the western side of the building. To use them, a fob key is available at the exit to the Indoor Centre to be used at the club’s toilet door, and when returning to the centre you input your passcode into the keypad at the gate and door, and return the fob key to where it is hung.
Cricket Coaching:
We have two well-qualified coaches who are available for one on one or group coaching sessions.
Matt is an ex Black Cap and current head coach and the Director of Cricket for the Sydenham Cricket Club. He is available for private lessons.
Felicity is an ex White Fern and is currently the Captain of the Otago Sparks and also the coach of the Sydenham’s Women Premier & Reserve teams
